I would largely agree with bsgbsm1 - the setting, the vibe, the overall storyline worked and was as, if not more, darkly realized as LMA1!
This new Adam was such a departure from Adam(1) - I loved his aesthetic and the moments sprinkled throughout that allowed the player to choose some of his mannerisms and mindset, it provided a bit more accessibility for us to feel attached and a part of him.
Offering my own (not unique) suggestions, because I had certainly thought about it a bunch and then didn't think to share...
- Evil Ending(s)/Abzi Route - Playing Adam as a mistrustful and lying person, who lies to Soren about having an appointment, butters up Tad, agrees with Hunter's ideology, was mean to Tommy, tries to engender himself to John/Jon (and then say he thinks he's better than Jon), likes Abzi's art and says he thinks Abzi's hot, kept River/Tommy situation a secret to his friend on the phone, and really got into the porn set work, that there'd be an option for Abzi to find Adam's drive and determination really alluring and to want to share the crown/throne with him - which could lead to the Abzi sex scene ( I think the easiest way to live up to expectations for that would be to offer a top or bottom Abzi option, lol) that ultimately lets you then decide to kill Abzi (with the switchblade) and take his place OR rule together.
- Chuck Route(s) - If you largely chose to spend time with Chuck, chose not to reveal details about River/Tommy to Adam's friend on the phone and the "maybe it won't be so bad" option, this route would become available. Adam would seek Chuck out in desperation to help him after Evander's murder and the two would then choose to fight back (opens from the "Really hot" option at Shakey's) (Fighter Ending, could end poorly if you didn't save Insight points) OR flee together for a simple surfer life elsewhere (opens from the "Very Sweet" option) (Sweet Ending).
For both the above routes, having the option to NOT go on, or to go after, the Evander 4th of July date, to Abzi's party or Chuck's Manhattan Beach house party could be used to provide further insight into who these people are, as opportunities for more smut, and to have both men (Abzi and Chuck) find Adam as a viable romantic partner and vice versa, that would be awesome and helpful in picking who the culprits are.
